Deacon Family Ministry
At First Baptist the church membership roll is divided by families among the active deacons. Deacons are responsible to communicate with, contact, and care for their assigned families. They are available to assist with prayer, visitation, benevolence, counsel, and any spiritual need that members may have.
The Deacon Body has a monthly meeting, along with the Pastor, the first Sunday of each month, 8:30 a.m.
Deacons assist the Pastor with the church ordinances of Baptism and the Lord’s Supper.
Deacons are Faithful, Involved, Serving, Supportive, Leading, Tithing, Attending, Training.
