Rev. Michael Moore | Pastor

Michael was called as our Pastor in November 2020. He and his wife, Mim, have three children. He graduated from Samford University with a Bachelor of Science and from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary with a Master of Divinity. Michael and Mim are originally from Alabama.

Before moving to Georgia, Michael served as a minister at churches in Texas, South Carolina, New Jersey, and Virginia. He loves to play golf and take long walks with Mim. His favorite football team is Alabama, and his favorite television show is The Andy Griffith Show.

John Renfroe | Minister of Music

John was called as our Minister of Music in August of 2024. John has a Bachelor’s in Music Education from the University of Georgia, a Master’s in Music Education from Reinhardt University, and a Specialist in Instructional Technology from Kennesaw State University. He has served as the Director of Bands at different middle schools and as the Assistant Director of Bands of one high school all in Georgia. He is presently the Director of Bands at Glenn C. Jones Middle School in Buford, Georgia. John received Teacher of the Year at Sweetwater Middle School in Lawrenceville, Georgia in 2018. As a performing artist, John has held positions in the Georgia Wind Symphony, Tara Winds Community Band,  the principal saxophonist with the University of Georgia Wind Symphony, University of Georgia Men’s Glee Club, the University of Georgia African-American Choral Ensemble, the University of Georgia Redcoat Marching Band, the University of Georgia Wind Ensemble, and in the North Georgia Wind Symphony. 

Robin Lambright | Administrative Assistant

Robin and her husband Chris live in Dacula, Ga. She has two grown children, her son lives in Commerce, Ga and is an electrician, he is married with two children. Her daughter lives in Calhoun, GA with her husband and their two daughters. Robin is an artist and enjoys working with soft pastels and watercolors. She enjoys painting and drawing and loves to read. She loves the beach and spending time with her family and enjoying her grandchildren.
